History at Shire Oak
At Shire Oak we follow the National Curriculum for teaching history. We use high quality primary and secondary sources as well as trips, visitors and other resources to develop an interest in history as well as ensuring that children acquire the knowledge and develop the skills they need for future study, work and life. The history subject leader has worked with teachers, external consultants and children to create our history curriculum.
